The benefits of laminate flooring

The benefits of laminate flooring
When installing wooden floors, floor liner is an essential accessory to be able to ensure effective construction as well as effective use for any space.

1. What is laminate flooring?
Floor liner is an accessory used in the construction and installation of wooden floors. It is located in between the main parquet and the subfloor at the bottom. Currently, there are popular types of flooring with reasonable prices such as:

Regular sponge
Plastic coated floor foam
Single-sided silver-coated floor foam
Young rubber floor foam

2. Advantages of laminate flooring
Underlayment overcomes minor defects of subfloor: Smooth flat subfloor is a factor that has a great influence on the stability of laminate flooring after installation. For minor defects, the lining can be rebalanced, limiting the impact on the finish. However, for large dents, it is necessary to solve them thoroughly before installing the floor because the floor can only balance the flatness to a certain extent.

Underlayments help reduce noise: One of the initial problems with laminate and other laminate flooring is the noise it makes when you walk in. Of course, the disadvantages have been improved when flooring products develop as they are today. However, to reduce noise due to some external influences, we should use lining to create smoothness and sound absorption.

Underlayment plays a role in keeping warm: Whatever the space is, we need a comfortable layer of flooring. The floor lining has the role of reducing noise, making walking smoother while increasing the feeling of warmth for the user and has good heat retention.

Moisture-proof support lining: High humidity has a great effect on the durability of wooden floors. Although floor liner does not completely prevent moisture from the floor, but to some extent, it can be effective when limiting moisture from the concrete floor.

3. Steps to lay the lining
Step 1: Spread the floor mat from one end of the room to the other, cutting about 7-10 cm from the length of the room.

Step 2: Align the first edge with the wall and attach one end to the wall.

Step 3: Peel off the adhesive backing and stick it on the subfloor. If the glue is not available, you need to use a special glue or use a pin to fix it.

Step 4: Repeat the process with the next pad

Step 5: Stick the ends of the joints to secure them.

Note that, before laying the floor lining, it is necessary to clean the concrete floor or subfloor clean. The lining also needs to be checked for flatness to avoid making it difficult for the next application step.
